Writing Fiction

Although we don't consider ourselves to be anything more than novice storytellers and have written a bit here and there over the years, mostly stuff we would never publish due to the graphic content, but it was not until just the last several years that we discovered how much we actually enjoyed doing it. 

By chance we dug out a horror story, which we considered to have been mostly finished, to do some final editing. Then decided there could be a bit more to the story, mainly in the form of a previously planned sequel. --- Well, considering how I was no longer on the Internet, I had plenty of time to work on a sequel as well as expand the original story (both expanding into novellas), start a spin-off and another spin-off of that.

Then another idea emerged, and then some ideas for some short fan fiction came to mind. Which resulted in several stories based on the Pokémon animated television series (we are old enough to still want to call them cartoons). And although they should probably never see the light of day, a couple were quite hilarious (at least we thought so). That was when we realized that writing fiction could be fun.

Although our ilk is for writing horror and erotic (okay, we will be honest, some would call it porn) stories. We have discovered that we are also able to add a bit of humor along the way (albeit a bit dark at times). Which we would have never guessed.

It is quite fascinating how the human imagination can create twist and turns, but manages to come back out to a reasonably believable point farther down in a story (admittedly, we tend to write the endings early in the process, to know where we are actually going).

Without the help of the spellchecker in our word processor, some would look more like some kind of cryptic, unknown language. --- or perhaps more like real literature (Oh, did I say that?)

We will not say our stories are necessarily good (some would say they are terrible; and in some cases we may agree) and our grammar is quite bad (ugh, obviously), and certainly no great works of literature (by any stretch of the imagination), but we have been writing several different things over the last few years, and now have a few short ones that we feel are ready to be posted.
