K-Pop Industry Safety Standards?

Image
There obviously is none, or if there is, some of the entertainment companies seem to be ignoring them. Disclaimer : Am no expert, and know nothing about safety regulations. – I am surprised that more people are not seriously injured (or killed) due to the sheer stupidity of some of the people working for the K-Pop companies. Who at times seem to be ignoring standard safety procedures, whether required by any legal requirements or not, some things are just common sense. Which obviously many working for and running some of the companies seriously seem to lack. To start, here is a nice capture of a bragging caption notice of how they were following supposed safety measures, during the making of the ITZY - Girls Will Be Girls music video. --- The singer is climbing into a moving vehicle.   – example 1: Lightbox hanging from crane, outdoors, over member of ITZY, on top of vehicle, during the making of the same Girls Will Be Girls music video. Just looking at th...

Pink Fantasy - our opinion

Was not expecting to write another opinion review this soon (although quite short), but …. To start we have to say that these girls are great singers, dancers and actors. Using fake blood, creepy contact lenses, unnatural choreography, wicked glares, evil gazes and unnerving smiles, they have created some of the most interestingly bizarre music videos that we have ever seen. Taking the creep factor to the maximum, on a logarithmic scale. As well as some fairly normal videos along the way. Unfortunately, they officially disbanded in 2024 after about six years and eleven official music videos, but what a handful of videos they are. For those unaware of who we speak, stay tuned as we introduce you to one of the more unique K-pop girl groups, and the small handful of music videos they have created. The group changed lineups a few times. With a mix of Korean and Japanese members. If you have never seen their videos, you are in for a hopefully pleasant surprise. We have included a link to a ...

Dreamcatcher - our opinion

Our opinion and basic descriptions of some of Dreamcatcher's videos. For those not familiar with their music. We are not experts on the group (or any other music), and have not watched or listened to everything this group has done. In fact, only discovering their music a few days ago. (and K-pop only a few weeks ago — yes, we basically live in a cave πŸ˜‰) ___ Summary : Well …. Regardless of which video you watch first, your initial impression will probably be wrong. (if you do not like the first song, try another --- seriously, this group does many different things) Rather than make you scroll down though our lame attempt to write reviews of the group and various music videos, we decided to put the link to the YouTube playlist, featuring most of the Dreamcatcher videos mentioned in this article (plus a few extras not reviewed), which may give some idea of the groups talent and versatility. (you are welcome to read the rest of this post, but the videos speak for themselves) https://y...

K-Pop — our opinion

Basically for those new or unfamiliar with K-pop. We have to apologize, this post has became a mess, with all the editing, reediting and random thoughts, suspicions and conjecture. We wanted this to be a civil intro to those not familiar with K-pop (not a rant fest😱) We obviously tend to digress, that is one of many reasons we do not do opinion videos (also not overly photogenic πŸ˜‹). — We are attempting to clean this up a bit. We realized that we are combine two separate trains of thought on one blog article. One directed towards new listeners of the music. The second, our opinions on the industry. — and as in the real world, two trains on one track may not always work correctly 😬 Rather than creating a second article, we decided to split this one into two sections, one focusing on our opinions of the music and entertainment aspects, and one about the industry in general (for anyone interested) ######## ######## K-Pop - the music First of all K-pop is not a music genre in itself, but...
